Overview

Nomad Nest, a brand by PDN - Associação de Nómadas Digitais de Portimão nonprofit organization (forthwith referred to as “PDN”), curates and delivers workation experiences at Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach (forthwith referred to as "Property") in Alvor, Portugal. While Nomad Nest handles marketing and coordinates onsite events to create a seamless and engaging community experience, the Property is responsible for delivering all other services related to your stay, including accommodation, food & beverage, facilities (e.g., pool, bar, gym), internet, cleaning, and utilities. Nomad Nest is not liable for lost or stolen items or actions by Property staff.

These Booking Conditions, along with any other written communication you receive prior to confirming your booking, govern your stay at the Property. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and obligations. References to “you” or “your” apply to the primary person on the booking and all others included in the reservation.

PDN acts solely as a marketing agent for the Property. By making a booking, you enter into a contract with the Property, not with PDN. We assume no responsibility for services or actions performed by the Property. We advise you to familiarize yourself with the Property's terms and conditions, as they will apply to your booking.

What’s Included in Your Booking

The following are included in the room price:

- Accommodation at the Property

- Access to communication with Nomad Nest staff

- Property amenities as outlined (such as pool access, fitness area, and cleaning services)

- Complimentary events as part of the community program (e.g., meetups, seminars, and social activities)

Additional Fees

The following services are subject to additional charges. Please contact us in advance of booking if you have any questions:

- Extra guests not disclosed at the time of booking, including those staying for part of your stay.

- Excursions or other paid activities (pricing will be provided in advance)

- Food and beverages, unless otherwise specified

Internet

We strive to ensure a stable internet connection at the Property and at PDN Coworking, but occasional disruptions may occur beyond our control. Please notify us if you experience any service interruptions, so we can assist you promptly. Additionally, you agree not to use the internet for illegal or inappropriate activities.

Onsite Communication: WhatsApp

Our primary onsite communication channel is WhatsApp. Prior to your arrival and after your stay, we will communicate via email. We encourage you to use WhatsApp to stay updated on event details and program activities. If you are unable to use WhatsApp, you may miss important event information. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that event communication will occur via WhatsApp, and you must notify us in advance if this is an issue for you.

Please use WhatsApp in a respectful manner. We reserve the right to remove you from WhatsApp chat(s) if your behavior is deemed unreasonable.

Events

We offer a weekly program of events curated from both our community and the local area. While we make every effort to deliver our event schedule, event changes, cancellations, or modifications may occur. By booking, you understand that we are not obligated to deliver specific events, but we welcome feedback and suggestions.

Accuracy of Prices & Descriptions

Nomad Nest is not liable for pricing errors made by the Property or system malfunctions. We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time before booking and correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Booking prices may fluctuate based on demand and seasonality, which could affect the cost if you choose to extend your stay.

Our Responsibility for Your Booking

Your contract is directly with the Property, and their terms and conditions will apply. As a marketing partner, our responsibility is limited to managing your booking in accordance with your instructions. We assume no liability for the services provided by the Property.

Refunds and Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute with the Property (e.g., the accommodation provider), Nomad Nest will not be responsible for issuing refunds until the dispute is fully resolved. Refunds will only be processed once we receive the corresponding funds from the Property.

Visa, Passport, and Health Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with visa, passport, and health regulations for the country in which the Property is located. We strongly advise checking current requirements with relevant authorities well in advance of your departure.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

- Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival: No charge.

- Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival: Full payment is charged.

- No-shows: Full payment is charged.

We recommend purchasing “trip cancellation insurance” to cover potential cancellations within 14 days of your arrival.

Changes & Transfer of Booking

If you need to modify your booking after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. While we will attempt to accommodate your request, changes may be subject to additional fees. If changes cannot be made and you wish to cancel, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

If someone in your party cannot attend, you may transfer the booking to another eligible person, subject to approval. If a transfer is not possible, the cancellation policy will apply.

Events Beyond Our Control

Nomad Nest is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, political unrest). This does not affect your statutory rights.

We are not liable for any failure to perform our contractual obligations if affected by force majeure events (e.g., war, natural disasters, civil unrest).

Special Requests

If you have special requests (e.g., dietary needs, room preferences), please inform us at the time of booking. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs, we cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which the Property is located. Any disputes arising from your booking will be handled by the applicable governing authorities.

Disabilities and Medical Conditions

While we are not specialists in providing holidays for individuals with disabilities, we will make every effort to accommodate any special requirements you may have. If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or disability that could impact your stay, please inform us with detailed information before making your booking. This will allow us to advise you on the suitability of your chosen arrangements. It is your responsibility to provide accurate details regarding any specific assistance you may need. In some cases, we may ask for a doctor's certificate confirming that you are fit to participate in the planned arrangements. If we cannot meet the needs of the person(s) involved, we reserve the right to decline the booking or, if details were not provided in advance, cancel it with applicable cancellation charges.

Your Behavior

All guests are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner, ensuring they do not disrupt the enjoyment of others. If, in our judgment or that of any authority, your behavior or that of any member of your group causes, or is likely to cause, distress, danger, unreasonable annoyance to other guests or third parties, or damage to property, or leads to delays or disruptions in transportation, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking.

In such cases, our responsibility to you and your party will end, and you will be required to vacate the accommodation or service immediately. No refunds will be provided for any unused accommodation or services, and we will not cover any expenses incurred due to the termination.

You and your group may also be held responsible for any damage or losses caused by your actions. Each member of your party will be jointly and individually liable for such damage, and full payment for these damages must be made to the Property or relevant supplier before departure. If payment is not made, you will be responsible for any claims (including legal costs) made against us, as well as any expenses we incur in pursuing a claim. We are not responsible for the behavior or actions of other guests or individuals not connected to your booking.

License

Unless otherwise stated, PDN and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on www.nomadnest.pt. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from www.nomadnest.pt for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Copy or republish material from www.nomadnest.pt

  • Sell, rent, or sub-license material from www.nomadnest.pt

  • Redistribute content from www.nomadnest.pt
